Morton Miss Out On Hinchcliffe

Former St. Mirren and Arbroath goalkeeper Craig Hinchcliffe has signed for Partick Thistle.
Earlier in the week it was rumoured that Jim McInally had identified Hinchcliffe as a replacement for recently departed keeper Paul Mathers.

Today's signing news means that McInally must look elsewhere, possibly returning to the option of bringing in the Polish keeper recommended by Artur Boruc.

Personally I'm quite glad we never signed Hinchcliffe. I've never rated him and in my opinion he is too small. At 35 years old I also think he is too old - even though 35 isn't that old for a goalkeeper.
