Former Morton keeper Paul Mathers is set to sign for St. Mirren according to today's Sun. The snippet says that he moved to East Fife to be closer to his Tayside home but that he couldn't refuse the chance to coach at an SPL club. East Fife will be due compensation from St. Mirren.
He will also be registered as a player in case of emergencies.
The Sun also has news on some of our signing targets from this summer. Simon Mensing has signed for Motherwell and Gary Twigg looks set to join Conference side Oxford United.
