McGowan To Sign For A Six Figure Sum

On page 59 of today's Sun in a small item titled 'Ton set to net Paul' Paul Hughes says Morton hope to sign Paul McGowan for a six figure sum.

McInally says we can't afford Celtic's asking price of £150,000 and is quoted as saying it's about time this deal was sorted out as it's unfair on McGowan.

I assume the six figure sum is £100,000 and for me that's far too much but with the season rapidly approaching and Sturm signing for Dundee we don't have much choice.
