A Rangers XI beat Morton 3-1 at Murray Park earlier today.Charlie Adam gave Rangers an early lead but Brian Wake (pictured) drew Morton level with a header. Daniel Cousin and Andrius Velicka both scored to give Rangers the win.
Of the match Rangers assistant manager Ally McCoist said: "We wanted to give everyone a game. We need everyone to be match fit and ready for the season so we took the game with Morton this morning at Murray Park.
"It was a good exercise. Boydy played, Velicka scored his first goal and Charlie also scored. Again it was a good exercise."
