A post on the SFL website has confirmed that we will be playing our Challenge Cup second round tie against East Stirlingshire on Wednesday the 13th of August. The match will kick off 7.30pm.I was also interested to read Jim McInally's (pictured) thoughts on the draw on East Stirling's official website. He said:
It's a good draw which should make a bit of money for the club and test us against one of the best teams in the competition. But from a personal point of view it's the draw I could have done without. I have friends at the club still and there's no sense of me wanting to win this game simply to prove a point or anything like that. I just want to do well for East Stirlingshire. It would be great if we could win the game but Morton are a top First Division side and we have to be mindful of that.
