Trialists Or Signings?

I think it was a surprise for everyone in the travelling support at Braodwood on Saturday when Kevin Cuthbert (pictured*, left) - who we'd been linked with throughout the summer - and Alan Reid were listed as substitutes. Also of note was the fact that they were mentioned by name rather than as 'trialists'.

Rumours are suggesting that they technically played as trialists but were named because they are both expected to sign contracts in the next few days.

Cuthbert's appearance signals the end of Davie Irons interest in Lee Robinson.
