Jim McAlister scored his first goal of the season on Tuesday night and now he wants to add to his tally. The midfielder told the Greenock Telegraph's Russell Steele: “I got six last season and hopefully I can go on now and get more goals. It’s easier when you have a bit more freedom to get forward like I did the other night.”Going by the article McAlister seemed to relish the space he was given and expanded on this by saying: “It’s actually a bit easier [playing against an SPL side]. You get more time on the ball and can go and express yourself. It’s not 100 miles an hour, and it’s more enjoyable. You feel you have a point to prove in every game, but maybe even more so against an SPL side.”
Hopefully his goal on Tuesday is the first of many this season
