Ton Linked With Simon Lynch

Morton have been linked with a move for Airdrie's Simon Lynch. The former Celtic striker (pictured, left) is out of contract and the Scottish Sun claims that we are competing with Queen Of The South for his signature.

The snippet says:

Morton want to sign former Celtic striker Simon Lynch. He is out of contract after 14 goals for Airdrie last term. Queen Of The South are also interested.

Lynch - who has represented Scotland at under-21 level and had a spell with Queensland Roar in Australia's A-League - scored two of his fourteen goals against us last season, one of which was the winning penalty at New Broomfield in December (pictured, below).
