Ross County 2 - 1 Morton

Ross County 2 - Brittain (26), Barrowman (90+2)
Morton 1
- Witteveen (52)

Att: 1,830

Highland Clearance: County striker Andrew Barrowman broke Morton hearts when he collected the ball and stroked home an injury time winner after a blunder by Dominic Shimmin.

James Grady made a couple of changes to the team that lost heavily to Dunfermline at the weekend; out went the injured pair Michael Tidser, who Grady described as 'a bit leggy', and Peter Weatherson to be replaced by Neil MacFarlane and Donovan Simmonds respectively. Tidser took a place on the bench but Peter was not included in the match squad. The only other change was David MacGregor's inclusion at left-back in place of Alan Reid, who was on the bench.
