Regular readers of this blog - if they even exist - might remember that I posted an appeal for information on Andy Ritchie's whereabouts and what he was doing. The request was from John Riddle - an English journalist who wanted to interview the Cappielow legend for an article he was writing for a Tenerife newspaper.John has sent me a few updates via email. Firstly, telling me that he had got in contact with Ritchie and then that he had interviewed him and that the Cappielow legend had agreed to Riddle writing a book about him.
In today's Greenock Telegraph Tele' journalist and Morton fan Russell Steele has written an article on the English sportswriter's fascination with Ritchie (and Morton) and his intention to write a book about him.
According to the article the book is entitled 'The King Of Cappielow' and is expected to be completed next year.
