Morton have cancelled next Wednesday's friendly against Stranraer at Stair Park and will now play Rangers in a closed doors game at Murray Park (pictured) on the Tuesday instead.The club made the announcement on http://www.gmfc.net/ yesterday afternoon. A few hours earlier the Greenock Telegraph had a story revealing that we had arranged the friendly with Rangers. Explaining the decision to cancel the Stranraer game and play Rangers instead Davie Irons said: “We are fortunate to get these opportunities and it gives the players an idea of what the top level is like."
