Walker Hoping To Train Today

Morton defender Alex Walker is hoping to return to training today after he was stretchered off and substituted in the 42nd minute of Saturday's match against St.Johnstone.

In today's Greenock Telegraph he tells Roger Graham that, after a collision with Martin Hardie, he was unconcsious for about 15 seconds and a visit to the hospital revealed that he had badly bruised ribs.

Davie Irons said “He [Walker] will want to play [against East Stirling], but we’ll have to see. We don’t want to rush him. We have to make sure he’s fully recovered.”
