Craig Thomson - the referee whos holocaust of a decision to rule out Chris Templeman's equaliser at New Douglas Park cost Morton a valuable away point - has been handed control of the Old Firm clash on the 2nd of January. It would seem rather than punish Thomson for his monumental error of judgement the SFA have decided to reward him with the chance to referee the biggest, high pressure match in the country.
Whatever happened to the SFA's inquiry that was still ongoing the last we heard?
