Morton have backed Peter Weatherson after he was fined £200 for an assault outside Word Up nightclub in Greenock.According to Weatherson's lawyer, Alasdair Hendry, the chairman and board are fully supportive of their player. As a consequence, he will not be subject to any form of club discipline.
