McLaughlin Has A Dig At Ton Fans

Former Morton midfielder Scott McLaughlin believes that his Airdrie side can win tonight - as long as they get the Cappielow crowd to turn on their own players.

And this is something that he believes shouldn't be very hard going by his own experiences as a Ton player. “We need to go at them right from the kick-off and turn their fans against them,” he told the Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser's Colin Paterson. “Having played down there, I know better than anybody how they can turn on their own players.

“I was on the end of it for long enough during the years I was there so it’s important to use their fans to our advantage."

I'm sure Scott can expect a more hostile reception than usual tonight.
