Robinson Deal Depends On McGregor's Fitness

Davie Irons appears to be getting slightly frustrated by the length of time it is taking to get Lee Robinson (pictured) back in on loan.

Morton must wait until after tonight's Champions League qualifier between Rangers and Kaunas to see if Allan McGregor comes through without getting injured.

Davie Irons told the Greenock Telegraph's David Christie that he will bring someone else in if the loan deal is not sorted by Thursday at the latest: "It is a case of wait and see if Allan McGregor is fit, then everything should be okay, from his point of view and ours. But if it isn’t sorted out by Thursday morning at the very latest then I will have to go and get another goalkeeper quickly."

Christie also tells us that Irons will not be making a move for trialist Jeff Forsyth.
