With talk of dressing room unrest earlier in the season it was positive to read that Allan McManus is one of his Morton team mate James Grady's best pals in football. In an interview on http://www.gmfc.net/ Grady was asked who his best friend in football is and replied: "There has to be three, although if you ask them they will probably deny it! Allan McManus, Rab Douglas and Paul Lovering."
When asked about his favourite goal he'd scored he went for a volley for Dundee against Dundee United in the 1998/99 season - which you can see in the Youtube clip below (8 minutes and 19 seconds into the video). It's interesting to see the line-ups from that game as there are no less than six players with a Morton connection: Alex Mathie, Robbie Raeside, Jim McInally, Eddie Annand, James Grady and Barry Smith.
Grady also reveals who the biggest poser at Cappielow is and that his favourite football wind up was one used on Derek Collins when they were both at Gretna.
