The Dominator's Back

Dominic Shimmin (pictured, left) is fit to take part in tomorrow's match with Dunfermline at East End Park. The defender had missed the Livingston and Queen Of The South matches because of a hip flexer strain but he looks set to take Allan McManus' place in the starting line up after he played an hour of a bounce match against Hamilton Accies at Cappielow on Wednesday and trained on Thursday.

Assistant manager Derek Collins told the Greenock Telegraph's Roger Graham that the manager has a selection dilemma: “Dom played on Wednesday against Hamilton for an hour and trained on Thursday. He had no reaction, so that gives the manager a headache, but it’s a good problem to have. Does he leave alone or bring a very good player back in?”

Colin Stewart is the only injury worry for tomorrow as he has a both an elbow and thigh problem.

It's also interesting to note that we could come up against the son of a Morton legend tomorrow - Jim Holmes (below, left) is Pars midfielder Graeme Holmes' (below, right) Dad.
