On the 20th of October The Scottish Sun's Bill Leckie (pictured, left) urged Douglas Rae and all Morton fans to give Davie Irons more time. Yesterday Leckie followed up on his earlier piece stating that after three wins in four matches Irons is getting there and that Douglas Rae deserves credit for keeping his finger off the trigger.Leckie seems confident we will avoid relegation and said: "The Ton are off the bottom - and a 4-1 hammering of Queen Of The South at Palmerston's a sure sign that this is no relegation-bound squad."
