Ryan McGuffie has completed his switch to Queen of the South, according to today's Daily Record.
The 29-year-old signed a one year deal with his home-town club after his Morton contract expired three days ago.
"I've been a professional footballer for 11 years and it's now nice to be a Queen of the South player at last," Ryan told Queen of the South's official website.
McGuffie, who had playing at right-back for the last few months of the season, looked set to stay at Cappielow until James Grady and Allan McManus were told they were surplus to requirements. "James and Allan were looking to keep me on but they have moved on," McGuffie told the Greenock Telegraph's Martin Greig last Friday.
McGuffie follows Stevie Masterton and Kevin Finlayson out of the Cappielow exit door. The midfield pair were both told that their contracts would not be renewed.
