Morton striker Donovan Simmonds wants to be back playing in the SPL next season, according to an article in today's Sunday Mail.
"I'm enjoying my football at Morton. We have a good manager and a great bunch of lads," he told Mark Guidi. "I'll be talking about my contract situation with them soon but it's not the level I want to be playing at. I want to be in the SPL."
The 21-year-old played in the SPL for Kilmarnock, while on loan from Coventry City, last season. His record there was 4 starts, 18 substitute appearances and 1 goal. For Morton, he has made 5 starts, four substitute appearances and scored 1 goal.
