Former Morton manager Ian McCall has praised the standard of next season's 1st division.
In an interview with the BBC McCall says that he thinks Dunfermline will be the oustanding side next season but also says that "there's an awful lot of bigger clubs , historically big clubs within Scottish football. Provincial clubs like ourselves, like Morton, Dunfermline, St. Johnstone - there's an awful lot of good clubs in the division. I'm sure I've missed some out some and you'll get letters about that but the very fact you can't tell who's gonna go down or who's gonna win it right at the start of the season. It's very, very competitive.... I think it's a very attractive proposition for a sponsor."
