MacGregor To See Specialist

Injury blighted Morton defender David MacGregor will see a specialist on Monday to decide how to tackle his groin problem.

MacGregor (pictured, left) tried to train on Monday but admitted to the Greenock Telegraph's Roger Graham that he wasn't ready: “I tried to train today [Monday] but it was really sore. It’s giving me a lot of pain and I’m obviously not ready. As sore as it is physically, it is just as tough mentally."

The long serving defender will miss Saturday's trip to Dundee. This will mean Morton boss Davie Irons will have to reshuffle the defence for the second match in a row. I can't see him going with three at the back - which he used against Queen Of The South at Cappielow in MacGregor's absence - away to Dundee.
