Rangers first-team coach Kenny McDowall was at last week's 1-1 draw with Ross County to watch Morton's Michael Tidser, according to the Scottish Daily Express.

The small snippet also states that Tidser's Irn-Bru Young Player of the Month award has 'sparked interest from a host of SPL clubs'.

Fortunately for Morton, Tidser signed an 18-month deal in January - so any move would require interested clubs to pay a transfer fee to secure his signature.
