Bits And Bobs

As well as the story about Morton targeting Tom Brighton (see story below) there are also a few other bits of Morton news in today's Greenock Telegraph.

According to Chris Fitzgerald Jim McInally was very impressed with trialist Adam Coakley's performance against Albion Rovers at the weekend. He specifically says he turns brilliantly (similar style to Paul McGowan) and has a touch of class. He also reveals that he considered loaning him from Motherwell last season and that he will get a run out against Gretna.

McInally says 'people' have said we should pay £100,000 for McGowan but that he wont - the price would have to drop before he considered a deal.

Chris Millar and Jamie Stevenson were the goalscorers against Albion Rovers on Saturday. MacGregor, McAnespie , Templeman and Linn were not involved due to injuries.
