Closed Doors Game Against Rangers

In today's Evening Times' Bert Mitchell revealed that Morton have agreed to play a closed doors friendly against Rangers on Thursday morning.

Jim McInally decided to accept Rangers' proposal after the cancellation of the Lancaster friendly.

In the article McInally says that Jani Sturm will get the chance to impress in this match. This would suggest - although it doesn't actually say it - that he will not play in tomorrow night's game against Stenhousemuir.

Arguably the most interesting piece of information to be taken from the article is that McInally says Sturm is "the type of player who likes to slot in behind a front two".
