St. Mirren v Morton Preview

Tomorrow Morton travel to Paisley for the last ever Renfrewshire Cup final to be played at Love Street. With St. Mirren moving to a new stadium in 2008 this could effectively be the last ever match, in any competition, between the clubs at Love Street.

Morton travel to Love Street with a few injuries : Craig Black (broken foot) and Scott McLaughlin (broken & dislocated wrist) are definitely out. There are also doubts over the fitness of Bobby Linn and Kieran McAnespie but both players got a run out against Rangers and could be fit for Saturday.

There has been no confirmation of whether trialists are available for this match. The general consensus is that they haven't been permitted in the past which could see Jani Sturm, Jay Shields, Adam Coakley and Fabrice Seidou all inelligible to play. However some St. Mirren fans are suggesting they have two trialists lined up to play.

According to Stuart Gillespie at http://www.saintmirren.net/ "Eddie Malone and Ian Maxwell are both missing through injury, as is long term victim Craig Molloy. Mark Corcoran could also be out after sustaining an injury in Thursday’s friendly win over Dumbarton." Gillespie also says that new signings Mark Howard, Gary Mason, Will Haining and Craig Dargo should all play a part tomorrow.

Kenny Clark will referee the match.
