Dumbarton yesterday issued a retraction on their official website regarding the story that Stephen Grindlay had signed for Morton.It seems the news item was premature as Grindlay contacted Dumbarton to explain that Morton had had talks with him but would 'get back to him in due course'. He goes onto say that he is very keen to find full-time football - but it hasn't happened yet.
The BBC sport story has also changed in accordance with Dumbarton's retraction.
